Photo Left: Todd
Remington opened up the wall between kitchen and butler's pantry with
a large arch and converted the pantry into a large eating area. He then
designed custom white cabinets extending to the high ceiling. These cabinets
create focal points as they bump out on each side of the Viking range
and span over the original windows. Hickory floor and black granite countertops
provide contrast and elegance. This kitchen's new layout effectively doubles
the useable countertop and storage space from the previous layout.

Right: Before photo showing the existing dark & inefficient 70's kitchen.
Note the moveable island was salvaged and incorporated into Todd's design.
This island was is original to the homes first kitchen and can be seen.
