Working
with North Prairie Tileworks, Todd Remington was commissioned to restore
the historic terra cotta barrel and groin vaults of the Minnesota State
Capitol Building. Designed by Cass Guilbert, the vaults were originally
imported from Europe but the terra cotta technology that created the vaults
had been lost. Todd Remington heading a team of crafts people was able
to replicate the technology and replace the terra cotta vaults.
Todd
has also worked on various aspects of the the Montana State Capitol Complex
Retoration Project with Crossman-Whitney-Griffin Architects of Helena
Montana.
