When Dean Johnson, Hometime - The Television Show's star decided to build a home for himself, he asked Todd Remington to design it.

This design is called "A Shingle Cottage" and has become one of the program's most popular series. View television program highlights of this and other designs by Todd Remington.

Photo at top: Shows the home's lake front side. The walk out level features arched transomed windows which let in ample light and allow for lake views even from this lower level.

Photo lower left: The home's front entry and courtyard layout can be seen. The 3 car garage is connected to the main home through a covered bridge and mudroom. Although a main floor master suite, the attic has 2 bedrooms tucked into gable ends and dormers for family members.

Photo Lower Center: Timber trusses and stone fireplace adorn the large great room.

Photo Lower Right: Dean Johnson's private office inside the home has arched leaded glass French doors. But it's nothing compared to the lower level shop which can be viewed by clicking on the "television program highlights" link above.
