at Top: A
connecting wing to the grain silo provides space for locker rooms and
a video game arcade with separate girls and boys bunk rooms above. Adjacent
to the structure is an olympic size pool and hot tub on one side, and
a clay tennis court on the other. The above photo was taken part way up
the private ski hill, and to the left out of view is a baseball diamond.
Note the lower shed roof at
right provides room for a large raised stage which opens either into the
gymnasium or to the outside through large barn doors for plays and concerts.

Lower Left: Traditional
detailing abounds on this new structure, creating a character rarely seen
in sports complexes. Large 1/2 glassed doors at left open up the video
arcade to the swimming pool. Far right, the large barn doors also open
the gymnasium to the pool area.

Lower Center: The
main barn was designed as a
long span timber truss structure, much like early gymnasiums. The resulting
open space provides for a regulation basketball court. Heated for winter
use, large insulated barn doors open in summer to provide much needed
ventilation.

Lower Right: A
view from the climbing wall silo for those daring enough to reach the
top.
